An Electrifying Night Out with Bryce Fox at the TLA Philly

Bryce Fox saunters onto the Theatre of Living Arts (TLA) stage  in Philadelphia, PA on April 18, 2025 like a bolt of lightning following the sound of thunder. His stage presence is as electrifying as his infectious energy as he moves through the stage with the showstopper Golden Boy. His set list contains a mix of newer songs and older songs flowing in perfect synchronicity. His new album The Butterfly and The Bomb explores a more delicate side of Fox’s life as a married man, with a new baby added to the family living in Los Angeles. He explores the nature of being an artist and a man and how fragile and destructive certain vices can be. And it fits perfectly with a fanbase that ranges from college students to the millennials who have seen and heard it all. The crowd was giving Bryce Fox the same energy he was giving out. Fox was kindhearted and you can tell by how he interacts with his fans throughout the show. That is the kind of heart that has sold out crowds and amassed an RIAA golden certification for his single Horns. He made sure to leave an golden impression on his older fans as well as fans who were seeing his show for the first time ever. You can’t go through your day without hearing a Bryce Fox song in the background and for his fans inside of the TLA. His music is the soundtrack to their days and his live show was the highlight of their week and month.

PHS Flower Show 2025 〰️ Gardens of Tomorrow

One of the signs that Spring is on its way, is the annual PHS Flower Show at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. This year’s theme Gardens of Tomorrow was one of my favorites out of the last five years. There was sights and sounds that stimulated our minds and gave us inspiration for our very own gardens and plant life. We got to do a DIY terrarium in the Makers Marketplace and picked up a bouquet from The Flower Mama who’s floral truck Rosebud was there to greet guests with their beautiful offerings. Our terrarium was filled with a variety of succulents, moss and wooden chips alongside a plastic bridge, mushroom house and sheep. We spent a large amount of time in the promenade entrance and was blown away by the exhibits on display. There was a bonsai and cacti displays and a recycled exhibit that prided itself on sustainability and innovation.

We tried something new this year and decided to film a recap video on our GoPro Hero 12 Black and are so excited to share that with you. Plus you get to see me fumble with a DIY terrarium as well. This show in particular was also sensory friendly as well because of the ambient sounds coming from the exhibits and show in its entirety. I was not overly stimulated and with the LOOPS earplugs in I was really comfortable with walking around during the Media and Members’ Preview Day. We went on the day before the public showing and it was filled with people. The major sponsors were out in full force; Ketel One Vodka, Hendricks Gin, Pennsylvania Travel and 6ABC to name a few. In regards to what this year’s theme conveys: “Gardens of Tomorrow invites us to envision a future where our actions today nurture a healthier planet. Through the simple act of gardening and planting trees, we plant seeds of hope for a greener future. The 2025 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show highlights the transformative power of plants and inspires us to create a beautiful, more resilient future together,” says VP and Creative Director of the Philadelphia Flower Show, Seth Pearsoll.

This is our favorite event of the year and we are gradually branching out to more lifestyle and creative ventures like photography workshops, travel guides and more field notes from our team across the country and overseas in London, UK. Plus we intend on doing more community work as well because this country could need a little more TLC and a whole lot of good vibes.

MISSIO + I AM CINCO + PHILLY FANS = A Sunday Night Well Done

It was a brisk Sunday night, earlier this month when the Austin, TX based band came through and wowed a sold-out crowd off their feet. With Layto opening up for them with a banger of a set that had the crowd dancing and singing along. It’s not often you see a tour package consisting of amazing talented artists that just mesh well together. The fans were in awe and really loved how interactive the artists were with them. The anticipation was at an high when the duo came out to thunderous applause. They band was infectious and energetic and had some high intensity moments. MISSIO’s Matthew Brue and David Butler definitely kept the motto “always keep fighting” on rotation as they reminded their fans that there is always a way through the hard times. In between sips of my drink, I got a bit emotional as I could relate to everything they were saying on that stage. It was a night to remember.

You can see them on tour through the end of the month, with two Mexico dates in June 2025.

Thank you to the Nettwerk team for the invite and putting MISSIO on my radar so that I can do the same for you all. You can read the show preview post here. (In case you missed it.)
