JOJO (Joanna Levesque) is back in 2025 with a brand new tour called Too Much To Say, a single off NGL her latest release following the 2021 release trying not to think about it. JoJo has had a tremendous time with the critically acclaimed memoir Over The Influence, which hit me right in the heartstrings as I read it over the 2024 holiday season. The book is fantastic, genuine and raw and it is a true testament that every one can get through the hard times. Even spending 2023 on Broadway in NYC as she starred in Moulin Rouge as Satine. She takes on a different approach this time around as she is in control of her narrative. And loving herself first and foremost.
In the 2025 release NGL (released on January 24, 2025) – JOJO takes on a bold and sexy stance and taps into the R&B and Pop influences of the 90’s and 2000’s but giving it a grown and sexy approach. In Porcelain, you can hear a sample of a song that is familiar and unique and giving it a 2025 flow. It’s the kind of song you can just throw on after you’ve beaten yourself down for the smallest of mistakes. But throwing your hands up in the air and singing ”I let it happen, cause I am tired of forcing it…Now I am stronger than I ever been.” If you want something cozier to listen to just listen to the reimagined slowed down version of it at the end of the album. Ready To Love gives off the SWV vibes with the smooth beats, and the pre-chorus that goes from a high tempo to a slowed down. I can already tell this one is a fan favorite and a perfect singalong at any show.
JOJO makes her return to the Philadelphia area on March 28, 2025 at The Fillmore on 29 East Allen Street in the Fishtown District. And we are so stoked on seeing her perform and if the last show at Union Transfer back in 2022 is any proof that it’ll be a good show. You’ll be in for a splendid treat as she comes through. Seeing all of her IG stories with her outfit changes and even a gender reveal during her show. It is bound to be a good time.
You can get tickets to her tour here.
What is your favorite song off of NGL.

If you know me, you know my affinity for indie pop/rock music started in 2018 when I made a Spotify playlist that featured a band from Virginia called Vacation Manor with their song “Falling Back” off of their album Girl, Say. Staring out of the airplane window on my way to London, England – I had a fresh resolve as a Pisces who just celebrated their birthday to continue to look after myself and enjoy all the things that are beautiful about this world. They were here in 2021 at Kung Fu Necktie and 2019 at Bourbon and Branch and boy was it a fab night to behold. Now they are back at Milkboy Philly on March 30, 2025 to play all new music from their latest release Back To Town out on May 16th.
They’ll be here with Rhineland and will be playing a short stint – so seem them when they come through your town.
The Back To Town Headline Tour Dates:
w/Rhineland
March 29 - Brooklyn, NY - Baby’s All Right
March 30 - Philadelphia, PA - MilkBoy
March 31 - Washington, DC - Pearl Street Warehouse
April 5 - Nashville, TN - Cannery Hall
April 12 - Lynchburg, VA - The Glass House
The latest single “Damage Is Done” was written as a love note to Nathan’s wife for when she feels worried and is also a good reminder that the band celebrated 10 years. That no matter what happens, they will always be there for one another. “I wanted to make a song for my wife for when she feels worried,” Nathan adds about “Damage Is Done.” “The first instinct is to say, ‘It’s going to be okay, we’re going to get through this.’ My favorite phrase on the record is, ‘I’ll be here until the damage is done’. It says something profound in such a plain way.”

If you’re a fan of Twenty One Pilots, you’ll really dig the music of the Texas duo MISSIO when they bring their epic new release I AM CINCO on May 3rd; which follows their 2023-2024 five EP series that collates beautifully into a fusion of rock, electronica, indie, hip hop that the duo is recognized massively for. In talking about the latest release; the band had this to say:
“We’ve been thinking of how we’ve matured inside and outside of music, and it feels like we’ve morphed into this new version of MISSIO,” observes Matthew. “As we experience more life, we rely less and less on other collaborators. We just do our own thing, which is new territory for us. It definitely feels like there’s a transformation. That’s the purpose of life, learning from mistakes and growing. It’s beautiful.”“We are still both searching,” David elaborates. “We have widely different emotions. The way we live our lives is the way we created I Am Cinco. This is a picture of humanity and a collection of our experiences.”
MISSIO is comprised of Matthew Brue (Vocalist/Multi-Instrumentalist/Producer) and David Butler (Engineer/Multi-Instrumentalist/Producer) who reached critical acclaim in 2017 with their single ”Middle Fingers”. They’ve gone on to reach gold singles, have their singles on rotations all over Sirius XM and global partnerships with brands like Shiseido and Armani. They recorded I AM CINCO in Austin, TX with a mix of 10 sessions between Mexico City and Texas with the end results being a massively beautiful 26 track that is a compilation of their past EPs into one giant listening session.
Be sure to catch MISSIO when they come through Philadelphia, PA on March 9, 2025 at The Foundry (above the Fillmore). We’ll be there to catch them live as they bring the I AM CINCO party to Philadelphia fans everywhere. You can catch them on their headlining tour here.
