PHS Flower Show 2025 〰️ Gardens of Tomorrow
April 4, 2025One of the signs that Spring is on its way, is the annual PHS Flower Show at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. This year’s theme Gardens of Tomorrow was one of my favorites out of the last five years. There was sights and sounds that stimulated our minds and gave us inspiration for our very own gardens and plant life. We got to do a DIY terrarium in the Makers Marketplace and picked up a bouquet from The Flower Mama who’s floral truck Rosebud was there to greet guests with their beautiful offerings. Our terrarium was filled with a variety of succulents, moss and wooden chips alongside a plastic bridge, mushroom house and sheep. We spent a large amount of time in the promenade entrance and was blown away by the exhibits on display. There was a bonsai and cacti displays and a recycled exhibit that prided itself on sustainability and innovation.
We tried something new this year and decided to film a recap video on our GoPro Hero 12 Black and are so excited to share that with you. Plus you get to see me fumble with a DIY terrarium as well. This show in particular was also sensory friendly as well because of the ambient sounds coming from the exhibits and show in its entirety. I was not overly stimulated and with the LOOPS earplugs in I was really comfortable with walking around during the Media and Members’ Preview Day. We went on the day before the public showing and it was filled with people. The major sponsors were out in full force; Ketel One Vodka, Hendricks Gin, Pennsylvania Travel and 6ABC to name a few. In regards to what this year’s theme conveys: “Gardens of Tomorrow invites us to envision a future where our actions today nurture a healthier planet. Through the simple act of gardening and planting trees, we plant seeds of hope for a greener future. The 2025 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show highlights the transformative power of plants and inspires us to create a beautiful, more resilient future together,” says VP and Creative Director of the Philadelphia Flower Show, Seth Pearsoll.
This is our favorite event of the year and we are gradually branching out to more lifestyle and creative ventures like photography workshops, travel guides and more field notes from our team across the country and overseas in London, UK. Plus we intend on doing more community work as well because this country could need a little more TLC and a whole lot of good vibes.
