We spent a day with Anna (our London HQ colleague) as we explored neighborhoods of London that are iconic as it is breathtaking.
First stop was Borough Market, where my partner and I ate at Padella and had delicious hot chocolate at Hotel Chocolate before walking around Westminster. Then over to North London, as we met up with Anna and made our way over to Battersea Power Station which was recently converted to a multi-use site with a shopping mall, a plaza and residential and commercial spaces. This once was an operational power station was decommissioned in 1983, and in 2007 was upgraded to Grade II Listed Status and in 2012 was purchased by the current shareholders, SP Setia, and work began on the massive 42-acre site.
